Payment Information
I accept payment in the form of cash or card on the day once the treatment has been carried out unless it is for a manicure where normal polish is used and then I like to take payment first so as not to smudge your painted nails.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment price. This also

When I am working from another salon's premises the above Cancellation Policy will still apply. Please note that any lateness will
reduce your treatment time, anything over 15 minutes will be classed as a forgotten appointment and a fee of 50% charged.

Other Information
- Appointments must be made in advance. To book appointments please message, call, text or email.
- Gift Vouchers are available on request.
- Due to the amount of equipment I may need to bring with me, I will require parking. I also need to know if there are any restrictions to access i.e., if you live in a flat above the ground floor, is there a lift?
- I will bring all the equipment required for each treatment, all I need from you is a wall socket, water and if having a manicure or pedicure, then a chair.
- When booking a treatment with Beauty By Karen, you must discuss any medical conditions or pregnancy at the time of booking. Certain conditions may require a doctors letter confirming you are able to go ahead with the treatment. Prior to the treatment a short consultation will take place and you will be required to complete a Client Consultation Form, which will be reviewed regularly.
- All tinting and lifting treatments require a patch test 48 hours prior to the treatment to ensure you have no reaction to the products I use.
- If you have extremely sensitive skin or specific allergies, please let me know and I can carry out a patch test using the products concerned to ensure that your treatment is completely safe.
- Any treatments carried out on a person under the age of 18 will require to have a parent or guardian present along with their written consent.
